Wow what a busy few days. You need a vacation!

I wish Dom and Carly a speedy recovery.

Chase isn't eating well at all either for a few weeks too. He just

started eating only a few weeks ago and we've barely progressed past

a few spoons. :( Since he was sick in Dec. he's never been the same.

He used to eat every 2 hours and be starving. He had a horrible bout

of a stomach virus, vomited for 10 days, the only time he was ever

sick. So I don't know what's going on with him. He was teething too

since then but it seems to be dragging on too long. I can barely work

on introducing new foods I'm struggling to get him to drink enough

milk. And of course like all moms I feel guilty thinking I'm not

feeding him enough. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and no fevers

or anything so I'm not sure what's going on. His last ped. appt. he

gained 3 lbs in like 1 1/2 months which is nothing for him and he

only grew 3/4 of an inch, only his head grew (pre DOCband due to ins!)

Anyway hang in there you're a great mom!

Carol Thanks I hope it's just a growth spurt coming too. Even more

scary than all this we go through has to be when they don't eat or

drink :(

I looked at Doms pictures his eyes look great! He's very cute. Will

he still have to wear glasses?

Sherry,

Yes he will still need his glasses. He has two problems, the

strabismus(crossing) and then he is farsighted and that causes him to

not only see well but cross slightly too. The suregry took care of

the Strabimus so now his glasses can improve his vision and help with

the slight crossing that is from that. As he grows he may improve

enough to be without glasses, but probably not until he is closer to

teenage.

Carol,

I was away for the weekend so I didn't get to read about Dominick

until tonight. I am glad to hear that the surgery went well. I hope

that his ear infection has gotten better. I really really hope that

Carly is feeling better and eating and drinking more. 10 pounds is a

lot for a little kid. You sound like you have been going through

quite a bit lately I can only imagine how tired you must be. Sounds

like you could use a day at the spa!!LOL. You and your family are in

my thoughts and I hope you are all doing well. Oh yeah, I checked

out Dominick's pictures and all I can say is that his eyes look like

they hurt but I hope they don't.

They don't seem to hurt him. The doctors said that they have talked

with the older kids about pain and they say it is more a feeling of

scratchiness or something in the eye than actual pain. Carly is

slowly getting better, but I still have her home today. OH Boy, am I

tired,LOL. I need a weeks sleep. Thanks for checking in on Dominick.

Thanks for checking in on Dominick.

a weeks sleep - you could use a year off in my opinion - I need a

week's sleep just reading what you've been up to - you must just be

exhausted, but as usual handling it with such grace - your kids are

so lucky to have you - I hope everyone is feeling better and on the

road to recovery.
