His recovery went well other than an infection in a portion of his incision. He continues to do well. His only complaints are the shakes from his prograf and the side effects of the steroids. His doctors continue to be amazed at how well he is doing. I am just happy to have my husband back. Thank you, Beth D Sneak preview the all-new Yahoo.com. It's not radically different. Just radically better. Quote

Guest guest Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 Jim and Maureen and the whole great White Team: Oh I remember it well. Wasn't right after the tx and before their release that you called upon someone to find you the report that supported the reintroduction of Actigal for Jim? I remember the rough road to tx and Maureen's persistence with insurance and family to get to tx. I remember the Kotex pad trick. I remember Maureen's being torn between two loved one's. I remember the wicked witch of the West. I remember Maureen's strength and the girl's taking care of . What troopers. I remember sleeping for two days and the worry. Didn't they tell Maureen that it was the liver regenerating? I remember everyone's faith. I remember everyone in this group anxiously awaiting reports from you. Oh I remember it well. Maureen, Problem Solving 101 is your forte and 102 103 104 105 106 107 etc. etc. etc. dee Quote

Guest guest Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 To Carole - 12/8/97! From the archives of 1999: From: " caboice " <caboice@.. Date: Mon Sep 27, 1999 5:29 pm Subject: Re: Carole/ Re-cur. PSC Hi, I had my transplant on 12/8/97. I started having symptoms about a year later. I kept telling the doctors that I thought that some was wrong, but they didn't start to " hear " me until my LFT's began to rise. When I was listed my doctor told me that there was a very, very slight chance that it would reoccur. Carole Quote
