Looking for a way to keep up my skills

I recently got a job working as a government contractor teaching a

military medic class. Which is great but I need to find a way to use

my paramedic skills before they get rusty. Teaching helps but nothing

like riding a truck from time to time. So the question is anyone

looking for help a couple days a month? We're on a 20 days on 20 days

off rotation right now but that varies from month to month. So

needless to say I've got some down time to kill.

For those who are interested, I am a State of Texas paramedic, soon

to be NREMT, I have current CPR Instructor, PALS Instructor, ACLS,

BTLS, and NRP cards. I've been a paramedic for 4 years and was an

EMT several years before that. I've worked transfer services, 911

services, I've dispatched and been an FTO. Anything else you want to

know just ask. I live near Ft. Hood, Texas but don't mind traveling

a little bit (US ARMY's got me traveling half way across the country

what's a 50 or 100 miles??)

Anyhow thanks for any suggestions.

, give capital ambulance a call. They are based in Lampassass

and have stations in Harker Heights and Kempner. They are in need of

good PRN medics. If you need more info, email me off list.

calls/month 911 and supposed to be critical care transfer but the hosp

sometimes think that a broken finger is critical lol
