This guy who had been in AA for about 4 months talked about how, earlier that week, he had found his wife in bed with another man. Apparently, he didn't walk in on the two of them " before " or " after " , but during the act of fornication. The really sad thing was, he was spouting off the usual serenity crap...being angry, no matter what the reason, was a Bad Thing...and only he could make himself angry...and how he had come *so* far in AA; after all, four months ago, he would have been hurt, jealous, and furious, but now, he could just accept the situation. The only hopeful note was that it was pretty obvious that he *was* mad (i.e., sane) about the whole thing - guess he had a few brain cells left - and was just putting on an act by spouting off the proper sentiments, thinking that was the way he was *supposed* to feel. I also noticed that I wasn't the only one sickened by this spectacle of self- degredation. Ugh...

Thanks for the tip. But, in all honesty, I think I'd rather swim naked in a vat full of live squid. Have a good nite,
