Re: Re: Cavitations

---------Dean, I am glad to hear that you were happy with your CAVITAT scan,

and felt it was very accurate. I have read about them and have kept it on the

back burner, because I wanted to see what just amalgam removal and some

chelation would do for me first, and of course the money issue. But I often have

this feeling that my body is almost constantly fighting something, and I keep

wondering about the cavitations. I had all my wisdom teeth removed over 15 years

ago, and I do recall having at least one dry socket. I believe two mercury-free

dentists have told me that my wisdom teeth sites look suspicious just from

panorex x-ray, so it may be time to address this next. It will involve some

traveling and more money, but I think it might be worth it.-------Jackie T.

The Majority of the people I know were unable to afford the CAVITAT scan and

had the peridontist open up the old extraction sites anyway.

-------I'll have to find my notes, I did some checking on this last year, I

believe I was quoted $500-something for a CAVITAT scan by a dentist in

Wisconsin. And cavitations are not widely accepted here in the US, and I'm not

sure if the oral surgeon that this dentist refers people to would do it without

a scan. I believe his office quoted me $490 per site for cavitations, so if the

scan would show that not all of them need to be done, then it might be worth it

money-wise also. And, I don't seem to handle anesthesia very well, so I don't

want to do any unneccessary surgery either. Otherwise, I may have to go to

Tijuana to get this done, but since I have already taken care of my fillings, I

can't hardly see going that far for just cavitations, especially without

confirming that I have them with a scan.----Jackie T.

The literature was right 95% of old wisdoms contained cavitations. I would

advise you to find someone that KNOWS how to clean them and check them out

regardless of a CAVITAT.

-------We have brought my mother to this oral surgeon for teeth extractions,

and he seems to understand about the periodontal ligament removal and cleaning

out necrotic bone, and he is who the holistic dentist with the CAVITAT machine

refers people to, so I think he's my best bet within a reasonable distance for

me. And my sisters and I liked him and his whole office staff, seemed to be

very caring people, when we brought my mother there.------Jackie T>

The CAVITAT is only really useful practically in someone that has had masses

of extractions and it is not feasable to check out every old site.

You can never, never rule out a cavitation by x-ray as most are not visible -

but if your dentists says it looks suspicious then you are sure to have one.

-------Yes, I have read a fair amount about them, but the problem here in the

US is it is not widely accepted, so not many oral surgeons are experienced in

this. They are probably also worried about lawsuits and losing their licenses,

etc. I have talked to Leo Cashman at DAMS about this last year, and he

confirmed that not many in the US know about this and how to do it properly.

And I guess the CAVITAT scan would be some verification for me also, that they

do actually exist, and whether or not they are in all 4 locations or not. I

think it would be money better spent than some of it I have wasted on doctors.

The deciding factor will be whether the oral surgeon will even do it without

one.--------Jackie T.

One of the most dramatic recoveries I've seen was from someone who had ME for

twenty years. When they cleaned the green gunk out of her wisdoms, the ME

vanished with it.

-------That's amazing! I have heard of other wonderful improvements also, in

Huggins' books and a book by Stockton, Beyond Amalgam, The Hidden Dangers

of Root Canals and Cavitations, or something like that. She also talked about

Bob (I think I got his name right), the man who invented the CAVITAT

machine. He was diagnosed with ALS, and improved greatly with amalgam removal

and cavitation/root canal removal/cleaning. It's a good read. Seeing a

dramatic recovery in person must be amazing! I recall someone who used to post

on the adult-metal-chelation group had dramatic improvements once she had this

done. She posted her improvements, and now she's gone, probably off living a

normal life.-----Jackie T>
