Guest guest
Melonie, and any one else who cares to read my ramblings... I tried being GF all on my own, with no one of whom to ask questions, for about a month. And then one day, out of the blue, the thought came to me: " Hey, I wonder if there's any Yahoo groups about gluten or celiac? " So, I went to Yahoo groups home, typed in " gluten " and " celiac " in turn and found a whole bunch. I applied to join them all. Some never honored my request to join. So, I gave up. Some I joined and they had NO activity whatsoever. So I un-subbed. Some I joined and found too tedious. I found it confusing that there were two groups with similar names and similar discussions. But since one was supposed to be regional to the country in which I lived, I figured it might be more germaine to my needs. But I found myself impatient with the way the group functioned. Why? Because when I need an answer, I need it within hours, not days. So... after joining a whole bunch of celiac- and gluten-related groups, I only kept one: SillyYaks. You all have been SO tremendously helpful to me. You've been informative, encouraging, supportive, enlightening, fun to read, and funny. Thank you!
