Hi , I have been thinking about you and Jack and wondering if he has graduated yet. I think it's awesome that you have been so patient with his little head and growth. This will all be worth it when it's all said and done and he is 5 heading off to school with his round head. Sophie onlyl grew a 1/2 inch in her head circumference the whole 20weeks and 2 days that she wore her helmet. Her head looks great but not perfect and of course I really notice her facial assymetry. I just keep hoping for more post band rounding and am so thankful that she wore the helmet as long as she did. I can't imagine how I would feel about her head and face if we never banded her. I just wanted to say Hi and let you know that I have been thinking about you. I am not on the board much anymore because we have been concentrating on her therapy for her low muscle tone and to get her walking. How's Jack? Take care, Sophie 15 months tomorrow STAR grad Tort/Plagio MImycatike4 <jturner@...> wrote: I was reading a post and saw that you did a Hanger helmet with your daughter and she got good correction but outgrew it in the end. We're climbing into that boat now.My son Jack got his in May and he's corrected from 18 mm down to 9 mm but we seem to be stalled there. His head looks great. I thought we'd graduate on the 17th but he still had not grown. She basically said it's up to all of us at this point as to how we proceed. He's still got room in the the helmet so we're going to go back on Dec. 10th for a measurement and I think at that point we decide. We figured what's another few more weeks at this point? We're thrilled

with the outcome and never expected his head to be perfectly round but at least now it doen't look like he got nailed in the back of the head with a frying pan!Columbia, SCMom to JackTort/PlagioHanger Helmet

Thanks! Jack is doing great. We're so pleased with his head now that

if it gets any better it's just extra credit. I think I was more

discouraged a few months ago than I am now. I think I'm just over it

now. Ha ha! Although judging from the dents and dings in the helmet,

it's saved us from quite a few nasty bumps. So what's a few more

weeks? Thanks for the good thoughts and good luck with everything

else. We're almost there!
