Guest guest
I DOCbanded my 1st son at 17 months after finding this site and deciding not to listen to the dr any longer. After everything we went through, I really thought I was quite the expert. I just completed my 5 month old's bath, and I noticed the beginning of plagio. I have done everything to prevent it this time around. He sleeps in an Amby bed or on my chest stretching the side of his neck I thought was a little tight. He doesn't even have a crib! I guess it must be the very limited time he spent in the swing that I am currently throwing away and maybe the boppy pillow he lays on when I am pumping for him. (He is a little preterm, and couldn't suckle the right way.) I am sure to reposition him, and thought I was doing a good job. Being nearly 4 weeks early surely didn't help. I am wondering if a slight case will round out on its own if he NEVER lies on his back again, (except the Amby bed.) I am sure it will prevent it from getting worse, but will it get better? Has any one heard of a baby getting plagio from an Amby. I am a little scare to even lay him there tonight. I will probably call CT on Monday, but I couldn't wait. I am in shock this is happening after all the precautions I took. This stinks!
