I was told it was not uncommon with this treatment, but then went on to rupture about two weeks after the metho. (My hcg had fallen from 1500 to about 30 at that point). My guess is this - it is most probably normal, but if it persists or intensifies, call your MD. I didn't have any diarrhea, but maybe because I was on pain meds that tend to constipate you anyway. > Based on the advice I've gotten here, I'm just >going to schedule an appt. with a reproductive >specialist as soon as possible for a consultation and >hsg. Hey - I'm in Pittsburgh now too! We live north of the city. I've got a great OB/GYN, but haven't felt the need to pursue seeing an RE yet. I'd be very interested in knowing if you get any info on one. If you don't get any responses, I can get a name from my Dr. She's a lot like me (VERY picky and erring on the side of caution) and I'd trust her judgement. She will also return your phone calls at home and explain things to you without 'dumbing them down'. Let me know if you're interested. How are you dealing with this Pittsburgh weather? What I *wasn't* told before we move here was that only Seattle has more sunless days.... Guest guest
HI Becca, Thanks for the advice.....I will probably speak with my dr. tomorrow. How did you know you had ruptured? DId you have dizziness, etc., or was it the severe pain? I'm just getting soooooooooooooo sick of this....I just want it to be over!!! I'm sure you can relate. I live north of Pittsburgh too - in county! And I might be interested in switching ob/gyn's once this is resolved too....Let me know what your dr.'s name is. The weather in Pittsburgh isn't all that different from Cleveland - so it's no big adjustment for me..where are you from? Guest guest
Terri After my metho inj. I was doubled over, on my bedroom floor for about 1 1/2 with severe pain I think it was the next night after the inj. but was cramping for a couple of days. (my ob said I would have some pain and all) Than when the tube actually ruptured about 6 days later, from what I remember, it seemed like the same type of severe pain and my dh figured it was 6 days later, that it couldn't be a reaction still from inj. and told me he was not going to have me sitting on the floor in pain again so he called by ob. (glad he did) --- Terri Sears wrote: > HI Becca, > Thanks for the advice.....I will probably speak > with my dr. tomorrow. How did you know you had > ruptured?
