Guest guest
<hey Becky or Ann Marie or someone give me some M & P swirling tips. i can not make a pretty bar of that soap to save my life. i make solid colors or chunks, but that is all. maybe some mica........hey i'm challenged.> Oh sure, unveil me as an incompitant swirler! Ha! Ha! =) I have to admit that I am not a swirling girl - ask me about embedding or layers! I can do that! LOL! =) Okay, joking aside, it's a temperature issue - temperature all the way! Low, low temps - low! The effective swirls I've done have been with massively contrasing colors (say, black and white) and I've made up two batches - 1 black and 1 white - and then, stirred and stirred some more until the temperatures dropped to about 1 minute to set up problems. Then, I simply poured the black on the right side of the mold and the white on the left side of the mold and ran 1 toothpick, once, down the vertical part of the mold. Clear as mud? Temperatures ... temperatures .... Hugs, Anne-Marie Bramble Berry -- for all your fragrance needs www.brambleberry.com
