It is possible that his brachy could become worse, increasing his head width even more, if is currently back-sleeping. With brachy, once the head width is established, it can never be " squeezed " back to be more narrow, so it is critical to do what you can to keep 's head from widening any more before his appt. What sort of positions is he in during the day? It might help to restrict car trips, when he is in the carseat, to a minimum. Is he sitting well? A lot of stroller time where he might be resting on the back of his head could also worsen brachy.
