Miriam,

Thanks for the info. I have NO IDEA how they came about calling me. I am a

TINY little business - as are most of the rest of us! They just verified my

address, asked if it was a sole proprietor type business, what type of

business it was - as if Silver Creek Soap Co doesn't indicate it! :) - if it

was a home business - I think that's all - they didn't ask about income -

they did ask when the business started - I got my license in July - I think!

Anyway, I thought it might be a good thing - that's why I asked - we'll see

where it leads, huh?

Thanks again,

a

Silver Creek Soap Co.

Hi all~

D & B usually contacts you; I am not sure how you go about contacting them.

We have a D & B number but they contacted us. I think when you apply for an

EIN they get a hold of your name and number {????} Be prepared for

questions about your financial statement and personal finances if you are a

sole proprietor. Basically a D & B number gives your creditors another place

to look for info on your buz.

" My little sister has already informed me that she

absolutely loves the cider berries soap you sent (my favorite too!}. "

Hi, Stephani...Thanks so much for letting me know the package was

received.

The Cider Berries Soap is one of my favorites too. The scent combo came

from a Shea. She didn't like it but gave me permission to use it . I

fell in love with it. It is equal amounts of SC Cranberry and SC Mulled

Cider combined in a regular CP recipe...Thank you, a for sharing .

I pray everyone has a happy, safe and healthy New Year.

Turtles,

...in Wyoming

Thanks for sharing, ...I may have to try this... I have it sitting at

my desk right now and so I can smell it whenever I'm at my computer! :)

Does anyone know any significance to having your business listed by Dun and

Bradstreet? I had a call from them this morning asking me a few questions -

not terribly private ones - but didn't know if it makes any difference to

your business. Can someone comment on this for me?

Thanks,

a

Hi a,

To be listed in Dun & Bradstreet states a company is good, reputable

and

financially solid. Dun & Bradstreet lists a company's net worth. If I

remember correctly, there is a minimum net worth in order to be listed. The

companies listed are usually BIG companies. You may be able to do some

research on the net, if not, your local library should have a Dun &

Bradstreet.

If you make it on Dun & Bradstreet's list, you're going to have to

teach

the rest of us on how you did it. I want to be that successful too!

HTH,

Miriam :) :)
