Mark,

You have had quite a difficult time with PD haven't you? Sorry I can't

answer your specific questions since I am not yet on dialysis, but I just wanted

to

say I hope you can get it sorted out without a hospital visit.

Mark,

Unfortunately it sounds like you are experiencing the same thing I

was. My catheter migrated upwards and got wrapped up and wouldn't

drain. They had to go in and move it back. Sometimes when they put

them in they move around, but once they are in and working for a

while they generally stay where they are. Good Luck with it all, it

really isn't all that bad having it moved.

Thanks , I have tried all the things they have

told me to do but to no avail. I hope it doesnt come

to a hospital stay but its looking more likely seeing

as the drainage problem is getting worse.

Mark :)

Mark,

When I had mine manipulated they did it laproscopically and I was

under general anesthesia though I'm sure it could be done under

twilight sleep as well. I had surgery at 10:00 one night and went

home at noon the next day. I was able to start PD again a couple of

days later.
