Shanna,

I'm glad to hear your son's bruise healed. DD also would manage to

smack her head during her hour out of the band. It's so frustrating

to have to delay treatment!

I don't think has a rare situation. Just that it's important to

ask the ortho if he has experience with this type of cranio. The

active bands work quickly especially at a young age so it's best to

ask a question such as this before fitting. That way everyone is

reassured and she wouldn't have to be concerned with the plagio/cranio

becoming worse as a result of the band.

He probably is quite qualified with this situation. I just never

assume anything anymore when it comes to my kids!
