I don't know if it's free from mineral oil or not but it is hypoallergenic. I used to use Cover Girl washable waterproof mascara for 10 years then when I got this problem I can't tolerate it anymore. I tried it after going without using mascara for weeks and within 2 seconds my eye was burning. I had to wash it off right after I put it on. The Almay hypoallergenic is good for me though.
