Guest guest
Hi Everybody I talked with Tommy on the phone for awhile, and just want to let everyone know that KQED definitely intended to have him talk, but by the time we were done with Angie's questions on the first segment, there was no time. When the show was half way over Angie told me we might not be able to get to Tommy, and I expressed my disappointment and asked if she would please try, because Tommy took the day off work, but I had no control over the show. I'm sorry also that we didn't get to the subject of coercion. I've talked about coercion on such shows before, but the subject didn't come up, unforunately, and it would have if they'd gotten to Tommy. But in all, I thought it went quite well. My perception of how it went might be scewed, however, because I was right in the middle of it. I'm going to ask them for a Windows Media file of the show if they have one. If I can get one, I'll put it up on the site. It sounds like and Tommy were the only ones able to listen to it, although I know Apple listened to it as well. If anyone else heard it, what were your perceptions? My friend who accompanied me thought I talked too long about my story. She thought I should try to cut that down in the future. Maybe if I hadn't talked so long, they would have gotten Tommy in. Best,
