Do the helmets start to smell?

My son just got his STARband on Friday and I am wondering if the

helmets eventually start to smell bad. I would imagine they do since

they sweat in them for 23 hours a day but I was still holding out some

hope.

I vigorously clean it with alcohol everytime it is removed. Has anyone

Heidi,

Some people have success drying the bands in the sun. My kids were

never banded in sunny weather so I didn't get this opportunity.

Hi. Mu daughter Isabelle just got her STARband almost 3 weeks ago and

after about 5 days hers started to smell. Our ortho told us we could

use Febreeze after I clean it with alcohol. That works great for me.

It hasn't smelled bad since.
