Guest guest
Hey , If it doesn't bother you, why worry. I think it is because I have this gland still...so it is more than willing to give me extra hormone, if I let it. Darn, now I really want a Starbucks !!! It sounds so GOOD ! I am cleaning my basement today. YIKES... haven't done anything but throw stuff down there since the beginning of Graves ( yes, I am still on topic :-) )...just came up here for a BIGGER duster....Man, Starbucks would really help about now. -Pam-hummm, must be feeling better, at least I have gone down and started. Another 6 mo. and I may find the floor...

Guest guest
Hi Pam- I've been torturing myself by cutting a lot of things out because I'm trying to get pregnant and nothing else has been working. Coffee doesn't bother me though. I'm one of those people that can drink a couple of leaded cups of coffee and fall right to sleep. Take care, > Hey , > > If it doesn't bother you, why worry. > I think it is because I have this gland still...so it is more than willing to give me > extra hormone, if I let it. > > Darn, now I really want a Starbucks !!! Guest guest
, I think this is where we all agree to do denial as long as possible. I kinda expected that Starbucks decaf was not really decaf. But I have also decided to ignore this fact. And, thanks to all of you, I had to go out in the storm when it slowed a bit to get a latte. No cranberry bread available today. Guest guest
Hey Pam, Thanks for the laugh. I remember the days when my graves was raging and I did the same thing. Neat, organized person I was. When I called my sister and told her I needed help with cleaning the house she couldn't believe it. But, hey stuff happens and graves hit. What is it with this cleaning stuff anyways when my graves was bad I would look at dirty dishes and wonder how to clean them. The only problem with me is I did that with my husbands taxes when he was self employed. I couldn't concentrate to do the paper work so I packed it in boxes. hehehe, thank God for our accountant. Anyways never did get in trouble with it, but should have known then something was wrong with me. Guest guest
Wow, I just got back from a SHORT vacation (about 30 hours:(. And here you all are on my favorite subject...I have to chime in, since I'm a happy addict. I've found over the years that there is only one way to have my coffee and survive it, too--drink espresso. You only drink a one-ounce portion, which because of the short extraction time (about 25-30 seconds) it's also lower in caffeine than the regular stuff (by the way, the Robusta beans they use for Folgers and all the canned coffees are higher in caffeine than the Arabicas used for high-end brands). And since you're only having one flavor-packed ounce, it's about 1/8 of the caffeine anyway... That said, we buy green coffee beans from Sweet.com, my husband roasts them, and he gave me a great espresso machine for my b-day last year, so you can tell I'm a fanatic. I could no more live without my coffee than without air. But, one cup of " regular Joe " , and I'm a hyper mess. And Jody, I consider Starbucks absolute cr*! too. ALL of which goes to prove, there's more than one way to enjoy an addiction, huh? I'm just happy I stopped the cigs 21 years ago and never went back to them. Cold turkey, but very motivated by an asthmatic baby (and feeling very, very guilty, too). Guest guest
Thank goodness you do need coffee Terry. <grin> I too need one at least. I go to my local coffee house and have a very weak soychino. They said they are only using about 1/4 of the usual coffee for a cupachino. I was watching a current affair program the other night and they were talking about all types of health and diet issues. One thing that came up was coffee. They said that two cups of coffee a day would speed up your metabolic rate (healthy) however more than two reversed it (unhealthy). Something to ponder on. Sue Mollymook, Australia PS I too have a coffee machine and got it for my birthday last year! At 05:05 PM 22/03/2002 -0800, you wrote: > I just got back from a SHORT vacation (about 30 hours:(.
