oops... again the computer with it's own brain strikes again and sends before I'm ready.... lolI was saying thanks, Donna, for the info and links. Yes, my daughter-in-law is from Grapeville. Her sister and mother live in Mount Pleasant now. At least I think it's called Mount Pleasant... My family from PA was from Columbia, North Centre Twp, etc. Are you near those places? hugs Sharonjoin me on FacebookSharon Mars wobbletowalk@...This email is

Sharon,No, I haven't, but I will... have used familysearch.org.. didn't know the labs were there. Legacy is a computer based program, rather than a website.. I've decided to keep it resident on my laptop.. should I get a chance to travel to places like the state archives, or even the local county courthouse to get photocopies of records (though that can be done via the website and snail mail too these days).. I can carry the trusty laptop with me, and work on it anywhere..Find-A-Grave is a good resource ( http://www.findagrave.com/ ) for locating people in cemeteries.. and there is a site, and I can't remember where it is right off hand (need to get to my desktop computer for that).. I found it again.. lol.. knew I could if I tried..http://usgwtombstones.org/registry.htmlNo guarantee that what you're looking for will be there.. but it's a good start.. People take the time to go out and walk through a cemetery and transcribe what they find there.. some more thoroughly than others.. but any little bit of help or information is usually more than I had to start with..Now.. if I remember correctly.. Grapeville right? well Grapeville is right up the road from me.. Did I tell you that their fire truck is Grape colored as well? lol.. If we find out who and where they are buried.. come spring.. or maybe a real nice day this winter I can get out and get pictures of the headstone for you.. and if it would happen that they are in a cemetery where is setting a headstone.. would be easier than waiting for me to get out to get it too.. LOL.. cause believe it or not..

with the temps what they are.. these two guys are tempting fate, and will be in a cemetery or two setting a couple of monuments today..HUGS|)onnaSharon wrote:>>> Donna>> Have you ever used Family Labs at http://labs.familysearch.org/ I > have gotten copies of birth and death certificates as well as census > records.
