I probably really need Isocort at that point, but hadn't been

using it yet, so I didn't really know what it would do for me. I

slowly started to feel a little better, got back to taking my supps,

and added Isocort some time in June. It perked me up quite a bit,

and I was able to enjoy my son's baseball season, and get back to

chelating. I heard you guys discussing doing longer rounds,

so I tried my longest round ever the last 2 weeks of July-------

16mg DMSA every 3-4 hrs for 15 days. It gave me the feeling that I

made some progress, and my sister recently told me that she could

see an improvement that " held " . So I was excited about that, and

was hoping to move up to 25mg DMSA, and then add ALA soon, which I

haven't done yet.

TK--- go slow, if you made progress at the previous level [stay

there] for a number of rounds - one of the biggest mistakes people

make is trying to go to fast too soon.

-------Thanks for the warning TK. I have actually been at 16mg for a long

time, I believe at least 8 rounds. I was able to finish a round at 25mg back in

April, and was planning on moving up on my next round, but then all my medical

stuff started happening, and chelation keeps getting interrupted, so I keep

going back to 16mg. So your advice from the past about not going too fast has

stuck in my head, so thank you! My goal was to not add ALA until I got to 25mg

of DMSA, so I haven't tried it yet, and its been over a year since amalgam

removal. With all my recent problems, would it be wise to still hold off on the

ALA? I think I will certainly wait at least a couple more rounds, and see if

the stress in my life has let up!----Jackie T>
