Guest guest
1st week was really awful. No pain, just felt horrible. That feeling lasts into the 2nd week. At 2 months post op feel great, still sort of a " thick upper lip " feeling and numb upper gums and roof of mouth. Otherwise, 100% > hi guys!! > i have a question to all the people post operation 1 or 2 months. > I would like to know the difference to what your feeling now in > comparison to your first week? > > thanks > > bobby
Guest guest
I'm 10 weeks post op which is just over your 2 months mark... The difference is AMAZING!!!! I know it seems like things wont get better but they will. The first week is the worst. If I didn't have all this damn discomfort from the braces I'd say that the actual jaw is almost 100%. Of course the face will still settle in more over the next few months but swelling is pretty much gone. I also hope to gain a bit more sensation but don't feel " weird " anymore- if this is all I get back I'll be sad but it's livable and worth the trade-off. As long as the peices are small I can pretty much chew anything (almost). I could go on and on but I hope you get the point.
