Guest guest
Hey Charlene, I don't have time right now to chat like I want to , but I am going to print out your post and reply to it because I too have had upperGI problems and it is really painful And debilitting.... i sympathise. After my "mystery illness" had been goign for a year, they sent me for an MRI scan - have you had one of them? MY spleen is an odd shape, nobody except me seems to mind this fact, but to me, it is right where all my pain resides. I will reply proper later. Great to have you on the board!!! (pun! well almost!) This is a good place to start http://www.enzymestuff.com/ i > want to give them a try but am concerned about their safety, how long > can kids stay on them, how do i know how much to give, My kids used enzymes with everything they ate, for about 18 months to 2 years. Now they use them 1-2 times per day for anti-viral properties. I have never had any problems with them. what might be a > good place to start do you think i ought to have my son's pediatrician > ok them before we start? If it would make you feel better about using them, you can discuss them with your pediatrician. I would not expect a hearty blessing tho, most doctors believe Asperger syndrome is genetic. > can melt down when he's overtired which seems to be often since his > sleep is VERY bad and always has been. Commonly associated with milk and other phenol intolerance, and enzymes can help with that http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm > having him evaluated but, after what i've seen and read, i am pretty > sure he has aspergers. we are searching everywhere for a specialist > to see him (everyone is overloaded it seems--we live in Rhode Island) I know someone in Rhode Island who is very familiar with biomedical and education interventions for autism/Asperger. If you send me a private email, I will forward it to her. Dana
Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the site. My son Mikey is 7.5 mos and I think he has Plagiocephaly. Everytime we see the Dr. for his check up and I ask her to check his head. She always tells me it will round out. But what if it doesn't round out? What if he has to go through life trying to hide the deformity of his head? Not sure what to do. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Guest guest
Hi there, As a mother of two that had and now have plagio, I would strongly advise both printing off information on plagio and bringing to that doc, as well as getting your son into see another doc. If you look somewhere in here there is a list of docs that are plagio friendly.. someone that knows for sure will tell you where. Go with your instincts, and get him to someone else that will listen to your concerns. Good luck, Kim > > Hi, I'm new to the site. My son Mikey is 7.5 mos and I think he has > Plagiocephaly. Guest guest
Welcome, Your story is much like many parents here. Some peds are uneducated on plagio and still believe that all children will round out on thier own. You can look here severity assessment to see how bad you think the plagio is. You can also go through that website to learn more about plagio and what can be done to treat it. If you feel it needs treatment you can always set up a free evaluation. If it is agreed that treatment is needed than you will have to see if your ped will write you a prescription for a band or if you will need to find a new pediatrician who will listen to your concerns. Some parents also post pictures of the baby here in the photo section under Our Plagio kids and ask for opinions. You will want pictures that show him head on and from the top(both ears visible if possible) and from each side. Upload the pics and then post to get opinions telling everyone what folder the pics are in. I hope this helps. CAROLG >> Hi, I'm new to the site. Guest guest
> > Hi Bee, > First, I would like to say thank God I found you! I've been dealing with candida since at least 15 yrs old if not sooner than that and I've researched for years on what to do to take care of the problem and to no avail seemed like I hit a brick wall every time. I can't believe how simplified the supplements are compared to what I've seen and taken, everything from Garden of Life to Attogram's psyllium husk with bentonite and caprylic acid in a safflower base, Miracle Mineral Solution (MMS) to the latest (and have read many others who've tried it) ThreeLac. How frustrated I've been and feeling like I can't live a " normal " life. Now I feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel with this, so again thank God I found you and your website. +++Hi . Welcome to our group. I'm glad you found me too! You will never be the same, and thank goodness for that! > > I have couple of questions for you....if I happen to relapse and drink a glass of wine or have sugar in some form, will I completely relapse and start back to square one? +++If you have minimal cheats they won't make you go back to square one because all of the great nutrients you are getting are still doing their job. It is better to not cheat, but if you must consume an offending food or wine, consume them within a 2 hour period of time once a week so your body has a better chance of dealing with it, rather than having something every day or several times a week. Can I eat Carob powder in its raw form with stevia to help satiate my sugar cravings? +++It is better not to feed you sweet tooth. To help satiate sugar cravings take more vitamin C - here's some articles to help you: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu_2_5_3.php Is Jarrows unrefined coconut oil ok to use? +++I'm not very familiar with it. It is okay as long as it is: unrefined, unbleached, undeodorized, non-hydrogenated and cold or expeller pressed. What brands of bacon do you recommend....I thought pork products weren't good to eat. +++Pork is one the best foods in the world. I don't know of bacon brands, and also I live in Canada. Look for bacon that isn't treated, smoked, with nitrates or sulphites, etc. - we've had many discussions on the group about the kind to buy, so please do a Message Search for them. Also, if I happen to eat chicken, beef, eggs etc that is quite organic, will I not recover from this? +++It is much more important to obtain the nutrients in such foods, than to be overly concerned that they are not organic. This program is very efficient at getting rid of toxins in such foods anyway. The most important thing is to not buy meats or vegetables that have been irradiated - check regulations in your area for such foods. +++Your recovery depends upon many factors, not just eating organic meats and eggs. What do you think of Garden of Life's " Primal Defense " ? +++I do not recommend it! Besides the fact that probiotics are extremely unimportant on my program, since I've discovered your body is " smart enough " to create proper probiotics when it is able and ready. I've been taking Hemp Seed powder as a protein supplment, I'm assuming stop using this? +++Yes. I believe the only good hemp products are rope, mats and clothes. And, I think, lastly, I've also take wheat grass to help alkaline my body. I skimmed the section over the foods that cause you to be " acidic or alkaline " , does this fall under that category? +++You do not need wheat grass, nor any kind of green substances or drinks on this program, and the whole acidity/alkanity theory is totally false - see these articles: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu5_1.php I apologize for the mass of questions, but I'm at the bottom of the barrel. I'm so sick of America's gimmick's and trying to make a buck off of everyone and everything. It has made it so hard to trust any product that you read about. Your information makes so much sense, a lot of it I've read in the past and then a lot of it contradicts info that I've read before. +++You are not alone my friend. Just for instance, healing your gut lining from the holes left behind by the candida and causing " leaky gut syndrome " and having to heal the lining before you should start probiotics.....and the list could go on. In any case, I feel like I've come to a point where I feel like I can be healed from reading your info. Thank you so much for your info and taking the time to read this. +++You are so welcome for the information. You can't go wrong following Nature's fundamental laws on health so your body can heal itself naturally the way Nature intended. God didn't make any stupid bodies. lol! The best in health, Bee
