We repositioned our son from the time he was 2-2 1/2

months until he was 5 months and saw some improvement.

He was already diagnosed with severe plagio when we

started seeing the neurosurgeon, so the improvement we

saw just took him to moderate/severe instead of

severe. We opted to band him, at the advice of our ped

and neurosurgeon, just before he turned 7 mos.

I have several friends whose babies slept on their

sides because of other issues (digestive) from a very

early age, so I would be OK with it now, but at the

time, I was afraid for to be any which way but

on his back.
