Laerdal AirMan computerized airway simulators and intubation trainers.

Emergency / difficult airway technique selection criteria

Drugs for emergency airway management

Rescue Ventilation Techniques

Traumatized airway and cervical spine protection

Obstetric Airway Pearls

Pediatric Airway Pearls

Rapid Sequence Induction and Intubation

Rescuing and preventing difficult/failed intubation

Confirmation of tracheal intubation and monitoring of lung ventilation. -

Cricothyrotomy

Cricothyrotomy using pig laryngeal-tracheal segments for the porcine

cricothyrotomy lab include: percutaneous dilational cricothyrotomy and surgical

management is provided (very practical).

CECBEMS, Texas Dept of Health, International Trauma Anesthesia and Critical Care
