You could be have adrenal fatigue. The weak and dizzy part brought on

by stress sounds like adrenal problems to me. I think I may have

adrenal problems too but don't know what to do about them. Maybe

someone here more experienced could give us some advice.

Another thought, how small of a dose? Maybe you need a higher dose.

When and what were your last labs.

It does take 6 weeks to get the optimum level of the medicine in our bodies, and truly, I went through hell and back it felt like as I was adjusting. By week 5, I started feeling almost normal, and now I'm almost at the beginning of week 6 and I'm starting to take naps again. I had one episode of the panic attack/anxiety like you're describing, as well, and thought I was going absolutely insane, but the more I read online, the more all of the symptoms and problems I'm having (and you too) are experienced by others, and that made me feel better. That panic stuff is weird!

Medication question

I am on levothyroxine - a very low doze. In the morning I feel lousy, sometimes weak and dizzy. I've been on it 9 days. Last evening from about 7 on I felt great (almost normal, no dizziness, clear headed and energetic!) but then at 10 a.m. this morning I went back to the weak feelings and dizziness. I am probably repeating my self, but do I understand that it takes a number of weeks to get used to the medication and to have my hormones level out? I also have the feeling that some of the dizziness and weak feelings are being brought on by anxiety/stress over minor things. Like someone stopping me in the store and asking how I am feeling. All of a sudden I got dizzy and panicky and had to get out of the store.

I had alot of anxiety when first diagnoised hypo and for many years

before. I was on Synthroid at too low of dose but I still has alot of

anxiety. I switched to Armour and immediately starting feeling

better. Most of my hypo symptoms are gone have have increased my dose

as instructed my the dosing instruction on ArmourThyroid.com

Insomnia, anxiety, etc...are just a couple of symptoms that are now

gone.

Hi,

This sounds like you might have tired, exhausted Adrenal glands, as

your symptoms reflect the pattern. Tired worn out funky feeling in the

mornings and then more energy later on in the day.

?What are your morning rising basel temperatures?

?HOw much Levothyroxine are you taking?

Hi, There are a few ways of treating naturally, without resorting

to taking more " prescription " meds.

I for one take a supplement called adrenal tablets made by Nutri+Meds

that I can get from their website. This is natural just like Armour

is.

Others take cortisone in various methods..,,

Still others get their progesterone, testesterone, and estrogen

checked and balance these body hormones accordingly..

The adrenal tabs worked for me.

When Topper gets back on line I am sure that she and others will

chim in with what they have found works for tired or exhasted

Adrenal glands.

Suggestions: Wean yourself off off all sources if Caffine, also any

sugars and artifical sweetners...stick with real foods, nothing

overly processed...let your Adrenal gland rest from the

overstimulation that caffine and sugars does to it...

(Can't spell worth a darn tonight...)

I'm not being flippant here, but my husband gets like that every time we go into Marks and Spencers. I honestly thought it was just boredom at me looking at ladies clothes! Perhaps I ought to be a bit more considerate to him. I'll tell him to leave the credit card with me and wait outside. Love ps - I think sometimes the lighting in some of the stores can have an odd affect on us, or it could even be the smells that some of them blow out in the air conditioning (especially supermarkets).

All of a sudden I got dizzy and panicky and had to get out of the store.

Hi, its 10 a.m. here, but I've just been sitting around so I took my

temperature and its 37C exactly after 3 minutes.

Also, I took my pulse again right now and after breakfast and some

coffee (I am weaning myself off caffeine and this was 1/3 caffeine

and 2/3 decaf)my pulse was 71. When it was 66 I had been lying down

reading for a couple of hours in the evening.

Hi,

Taking your basal temputure is a little different than taking your

mouth/under the tongue temperature.

Topper has the information on the website:

www.thryophoenix.com

It involves taking an old fashioned thermometer,(mercury if you have

one, or a " ovulation thermometer if you don't) and placing it under

your armpit before you rise from bed. Try not to move too

much...just go back to sleep for a few minutes. Wait 10 minutes

with the mercury thermometers or at least five with the ovulation

thermometers and then see what your basal rising tempurature is. I

do this for one week, add them together and then take the average

and that is your basal rising temperature...in a nut shell...

(Please realize that mercury thermometers are no longer being made

due to the toxicity/poison of mercury)(thus the using of ovulation

thermometers)

The basal temperature is a way of seeing how your body is doing...it

works pretty good for those of us who don't get lab work done on a

regular basis.

The average is around about 97.4-97.8 give or take a few

factors...for a healthy person.

Don't expect it to be as warm as inside your mouth... If it turns

out down in the 8x.0-97.x range then there is room for increasing

your meds over time...

If over only a bit, judge how you are feeling, how your skin is

looking..was it that time of month when the womans body goes into

the cleansing phase of her cycle...these are all variables to the

temperatures that our bodies live within.

Also, be aware that as you move around during the day your bodies

temperature will warm up and cool down depending upon what you are

doing...Like when I go for a walk or shopping, the muscles warm up

and my bodies temperature will rise as a result. After watching an

hour of TV or reading the body will cool down again...however not as

cool as when we first wake up...thus the " Rising Basal Temp " ...this

temp is the most consistant of any time of the day.
