Guest guest
I am kind of worried about Isabelle's band being too crooked. Is it normal for bands to sit so crooked or crooked at all?? I was also worried because she has a STARband and out of all the pictures I have seen her band doesn't look like any other STARband. The hole on the top is way lower than any other one and I know in the front by her forehead and the " side burns " are thinner but the ortho has had to make adjustments to those parts due to red marks. I asked about the hole on top and why hers was lower and they just told me that she doesn't need that much correction there. She is sleeping now but tomorrow I will take some pictures of her and post them so maybe some of you guys can tell me if it looks too crooked. I really hope that we don't have an ill fitting helmet. Can it be ill fitting if it's too crooked???? Thanks Isabelle 6 mos STARband 1/31/

Guest guest
, The band shouldn't be crooked. A little shifting is normal but it shouldn't sit on her head and be crooked. Look in the photos section in the before and after pics of ourSTARband babies. You'll see how a band is supposed to fit. You can also look in the files section in the folder getting a good fit. Please do post pictures. I'll be away from the board for a while, my daughter will be checking my email for me. Feel free to email me anytime. -- In Plagiocephaly , " nicole " <fanofleesa@...> wrote: > > I am kind of worried about Isabelle's band being too crooked. Guest guest
, It is a different looking Starband, but I am not sure what to make of it. A band should not be crooked. Is it very loose? I have never seen one with the opning that far forward but I honestly don't know if that is a problem. Have you spoken with anyone else who has used this facility? You can always try taking some pictures and sending them in to Orthomerica and see what they say. Just thinking here. I hope it is nothing or a design because of where she needed correction.
