Guest guest
Mmmm endorphins...I miss those! My treadmill, which has been collecting dust since about 3 days after I began synthroid (felt like superwoman those first few days, then it waned sadly) is looking so tempting right now. Should I wait until I stop needing naps to get on it? Maybe just a short walk at a very low speed.... RE: Bicarb... Just don't over do things, , as you are feeling better... give your body a chance to get stronger.... ease into being more active, okay? .. Yes, not too much… not too little.. it is hard to get the balance right, as I have overdone it occasionally then take a week to stop aching ! Too much rest on the other hand and we don’t release those feel good endorphins that athletes get high on !
Guest guest
Just sprinkle the powder.... supposedly works for roaches, too.... But, the roaches don't seem to be as affected as the ants are by this... RE: Bicarb... I just used it to clean my cupboards out.. you had inspired me ! J Much better than any commercial cleaner…

Guest guest
I'd say a short walk at low speed would be a good thing... light stretching and exercise are good for stimulating the muscles, tendons and bones... Just don't over do... find that magic amount of time that feels good but doesn't make you look at it the next day, or two days later, and dread doing it.... Start out with a 'quicky' once or twice a week, as a 'treat' for yourself and let your body tell you that it wants more. IMHO of course..... Guest guest
(they put me on two sets of steroids during the mono to build me back up so I could feel well enough to function). Can you remember the names ? I have often been told that steroids cause you to gain weight, and that is counter productive.. but if they help muscle function, & I guess they must or athletes wouldn’t use them, it might be a good idea for a short while, as you re-gain your strength… & heaven knows I need to .. I am having a battle against loss of sleep in the night time , followed by deep sleep in the morning, which really mucks me up, as I loose a lot of my day / exercise this way L
