It is great to hear from so many. Babies are just lovely to talk about.

Certainly for me the thyroidectomy has proven so far to have been effective. I

haven't had any trouble adjusting my

meds, after one hypo during early pregnancy and with my fertility having bounced

back so well (I was infertile for 2

1/2 years before surgery due to hyper and/or GD) I think it is crucial for Drs

to consider this before zapping woman

of child bearing ages, especially knowing the problems that is having. But

most Drs don't go against what the

'protocols' say and apart from the work of people like Elaine there is little to

say any different in the published

medical research.
