Guest guest
Thanks for all your support. As I said reading everyones advice and experiences has helped me tremendously. I was completely lost when we started this whole process (tort. and plagio.) and without this group I can't imagine where we would be at this point. I honestly think that my son would have been left as is with severe plagio as although my doctors never were against my decisions no one was really educating me on what my options were to correct the plagio only the tort. I had to do that on my own. I'm amazed at how helpful this group is and I personally hope it never goes away. We know we can call our Dr. or whoever is doing our band but I know there are always little things that will come up that we don't make the effort to call or are embarrassed to call about. To know we have so many knowledgable people here is so reassuring to me. I know that my son will definitely be ok. And I have every single person in this group to thank for that in addition to CT of course. How quickly will I see a change? Guest guest
Sherry, Thank you! I wouldn't be shocked if you saw some correction at his next appointment. When does he go back for an adjustment? > > > > > > Chase got his DOCband and everything went fantastic! Guest guest
Sherry, I'm glad to hear Chase got his band and adjusted quickly. My kids didn't put up a fuss at all. I bet you will see changes quite quickly. When he has adjustment you'll feel so good when they have to shave some foam from that flat side! Guest guest
Sherry, That is great. Most babies tend to adopt this position of being on thier belly with thier butt in the air after getting a band, lol. I don't know why, I guess it's comfy. Whatever way he is sleeping is fine, the band will shift a bit but not enough to cause a problem.
