Thanks !! Now I know!! Guess my honey German should be DB, but I think

I'll call him DH2B....LOL I feel he is more than just my boyfriend after

over 2 1/2 years and all we've been through together and the fact that his

insurance had us sign forms stating we present ourselves as husband and wife!

Congratulations Amy on your upcoming anniversary next week! 3

years.....that's great! Especially in this day and time!! Our 3 year

anniversary will be in November. We've actually been friends for about 3

years this month, but didn't start going out on friendlier terms until that

following November. As for a ring....I have one, but DH2b hid it from

me....even though I picked it out. It's kind of a wedding/engagement ring

all together and he doesn't want me to wear it until we are married. I think

he feels it will jinx us or something! But I do have a beautiful ring that

he gave me on Valentines a year ago that is kind of like a " promise

ring " ....that too sounds kind of " high school " but I understand that this

ring has more meaning that just any ol' ring!

I like that...DH2B...although I haven't received a ring yet, so I

better not jinx myself by using that. I always use dp, cause that's

what people seemed to be using when I joined the group. I know what

you mean about the boyfriend/girlfriend titles. I really do NOT like

them...feels like I should be back in high school, not 2 grown people

that have been in a committed relationship for almost 3 yrs (next

week!). Bob always calls me his better half...that's his solution.

Don't feel silly, it took me awhile to figure out the abbreviations, I was

constantly asking...

Dh means Dear Hubby/ Darling Hubby

DP Dear Partner

DB Dear Boyfriend
