Guest guest
Hello, My son is 4.5 months old and he just got casted for the Doc Band yesterday. He was such a trooper! I was somewhat disappointed that the ndale, VA Doc Band office did not have a list of artists who could decorate the band. My husband and I are not artistic at all so we wanted to get someone to help us. Do you know of anyone in the Northern VA area who does this? If not, any tips would be helpful. For example, what's the best paint to use, stickers, and sealant. Thanks so much!

Guest guest
On this website, check out Files, Decorating Tips.. there are many tips there. I used stickers and applied 2 thin layers of modge podge on top of them to prevent peeling. It is easy to remove to change the look of the helmet for seasons, etc. Good luck. Guest guest
,Welcome. I also used CT in ndale to treat my Dominick's very severe inuter plagio and we had wonderful results and a great experience. There is a decorating file here that has great ideas and instructions. You can also check out my son's website My Banded Baby and look at the "decorating the bands" photo album. It has pictures of all his decorated bands and how I did them. I am in no way artistic either but I was able to do it and had so much fun. Good Luck. CAROLG >> Hello,> My son is 4.5 months old and he just got casted for the Doc Band > yesterday. Guest guest
: Stickers are the way to go. I changed my son's helmet several times and stickers with modge podge over top of it were very easy. For example, with St. 's day coming up you could get 4-leaf clovers and lettering across the front that said " Kiss me I'm Irish " . Just think of themes you can do and with spring coming up you could do a lot of stuff. Baseball Spring Training " Barry Bonds Look Out " Slugger in the Making, spring, memorial day and beach theme. Decorating was my FAVORITE thing to do. I changed his helmet quite a bit. Jack -- 1 year, DOCGrad --- " Carol G. " <GATTVA@...> wrote: > > , > Welcome.
