That's a good question.

No. He watches the weather channel.

Nope. But he really like their website.

Constantly.

Yep. Every day. Clocks, geography, you name it. He looks it up.

Boone's favorite websites:

http://www.funbrain.com/where/

http://www.census.gov/ipc/www/clock2.html

http://www.usedscales.com/mechanical_hanging_scales.htm

http://www.millenniumclockworks.com/

http://www.nick.com/

>how does he know all of this stuff??

He's very smart.

It's

> amazing!

Yep.

Boone's been tested by L. Wallace, from the University of London's

Institute of Psychiatry. Greg has written for Scientific American with Dr.

Darrold Treffert, an expert in the field.

Greg sent Boone a lovely miniature (but working) Big Ben for Christmas,

which Boone cherishes.

It's also the only Christmas present still in one piece.

I like the red swirlies. Pretty. What's with the 00, 25, 50, 75? Haven't

seen that before I don't think. A metric clock? =)

What does the yellow one with the (phone?) number say? I couldn't read it

even zoomed in. Blurry. (jan17)

I like the 12 8 4!!

BTW wrote " mEl " with the alphabet letters today. I am assuming he

means Mel Gibson; we just watched Signs. But the E was really a backwards 3

and the l (little L) may have been a 1 (number).

He also wrote " es " which may have been an attempt at " eyes " - we spelled

that a lot today - perhaps he couldn't find the other letters.

We also gota pair of adaptive scissors from his OT, and he cut paper today.

He was very intent on cutting out triangles from the edges of the paper. I

showed him how to do snowflakes and he liked that a lot but doesn't have the

hand strength to do it himself.

I think he's working on percentages, but it's nor like he's going to tell me

or even knows how to tell me.

I have no idea.

Probably was.

That makes sense.

FWIW -- I don't see any benefit in small autistic boys knowing how to cut

with scissors.

Keep working on that and you'll see what I mean ....

;)
