Guest guest
Welcome and sorry you had to find us. This is a great bunch of women with a lot of support and understanding. I look forward to getting to know you too1 I had an ep on 8/31/00 and lost my right tube. It took us years to get pg. Started trying again in Nov and found out on Jan 17th that I was pg again. Had a m/c on 1/26/01 with a D & C and surgery again to rule out another ep. The good news of it was that it was a uterine pg (that took 2 months not years!), the egg jumped from my right ovary to my left (only) tube and my left tube is clear and so is my uterus. I think it is great that you are able to focus on the positives... lisa r T.T.F.N.

Guest guest
Hi, Welcome to the group!!!!!!!! I look forward to getting to know you and helping each other during this weight loss journey. My name is I'm 27, married 8yr old daughter, 5'7 " 194.5lbs. #2 > Hi, I've just finished trying on pants that fit me a year ago and let's just say...well, I've decided I need to lose a little weight. I've gained steadily over a period of two years. I've been exercising lately but I'm still not eating very well. I decided I needed something to keep me in line, and I'd like to do whatever I can to support other people as well. I'm just really unhappy with my body and want to change...but eating habits are so hard to break. I want my wardrobe back! Anyway, nice to meet all of you, looking forward to being part of the group. Guest guest
Newbie Hi, I am new to this group . I did a search for weight loss buddies and I found this group My name is . I am a 33 yr old mother of 2 , work at home mom. I do childcare in my home . I am licensed to keep 6 children . I have been married for 15 years to the greatest guy ever . My kids are a girl 14 , and a boy 6 . We live in the mountains of North Georgia where many , many people come to vacation . It is really lovely here . I have lived here my whole life . I am 5'3 and weigh 240 (yuck!) . This is the most I have ever weighed my whole life . I weigh 60 pounds more now than I did when I was nine months pregnant with my son . I sure wish I had started after having him and not got up to this .. Anyway, I am looking forward to jumping right in here and posting, if that is ok . Also, if there is anyone in this group who lives near me , I would love to find a walking partner for the evenings . Exercise is somewhat limited for me as I have a knee injury I am currently wearing a brace for . I still have over 3 weeks of wearing it and then I feel that I should be careful as not to re-injure it as I did this time . This means I can't jump on the trampoline with my son anymore in the evenings and he gets really upset about that . Sorry for being so long winded , I tend to do that . I need alot of support and help as I seem to not be able to find the motivation I need to lose the weight . I stay away from diet aids , herbal pills and such , because of my blood pressure . I am open to ideas and will take all the help and support I can get . I really would like to get this weight off and have the energy I should have at my age . Thanks for listening ! Guest guest
, Have you purchased Danna Korn's book about Celiac kids? It is WONDERFUL. I could not have even gotten started on this without that book. I do not have Celiac either, nor does my husband, but our son Brennan does. He was diagnosed last summer at age 2 1/2. As far as picky goes, that goes with the ages. It's a control issue. Although it also may be a result of "when I used to eat that, it hurt my tummy, so I'm not eating it again" Just keep giving it the old college try! Welcome to the group! He hashealth issues and stomach problems too, but won't be tested forCeliacs. He doesn't think he is. Ok, whatever...It's not in mycontrol. Anyhow, Karianne still suffers from constant stomachpain--she says it is minimal, but it is still there. I was thinking oftrying the product Reliv, which a gal named Christy, on my Celiac Kidschat group referred. Has anyone ever tried that product? Guest guest
Hi , Welcome! I homeschool 3 kids, all celiac. is 14, is 12, and is 10. Have they ever tested you for celiac? It is my understanding that reflux can be a symptom of celiac. It would probably be fairly easy to do the biopsies while they are doing the endoscopy you spoke of. wrote: Hi everyone. Karianne (6) is my little ADHDCeliac, and has what Dr.s call a slow stomach, which affectshis eating habits, or lack thereof. Both of my children are VERY tinyfor their ages. I also homeschool them. I am not Celiac and it doesnot run in my family as far as I know; however, my poor dad has alwayssuffered stomach problems and both my brothers and I have sufferedwith reflux terribly and I am in the hospital getting endoscopies eachyear due to food getting stuck in my throat. I know, wonderful, huh?!That is a similar procedure to the Celiac biospy, except nothing isbiopsied. My husband was adopted. His records are closed. Also both ofmy kids are extremely picky eaters and hate foods they once lovedafter a short time, it seems. This drives me batty! I also wated topurchase the book Children with Starvig Brains, written for kids onthe Autistic Spectrum.Well enough about me. Hi everyone! Guest guest
Hi ! Thanks for the welcome. I've just had bad heartburn from spicy foods. Breads don't hurt me in the least. I am sure I don't have Celiacs. I'd like to introduce myself. My name is and I have two kids, ages 8 and 6.
