I think you're right . Don't wait 12 months. Lesions can mean anything. For example, those of us with cirrhosis can quite commonly have "non-regenerative nodules" which are benign. I have 2 on the liver which were described as lesions. You may remember I posted that a young and possibly not very experienced doctor felt sure they were malignant.

But a senior and experienced radiographer with a high powered MRI or CT scanner can tell the difference. I'm sure you'll keep us posted.
