Guest guest Posted June 13, 2003 Report Share Posted June 13, 2003 Only 1 week til my surgery, this time next week it will all be over (or just starting!) I'm having lower advanced and just advised my surgeon today to also go ahead with genio. My moulds for my splint were wrong, so needed new ones done today, but i dont mind the moulds so its ok! I brought some foodstuffs today- but not much because im in hospital for 4 days, so my mum (who is coming from interstate) and bf can do all that while i'm in hospital- i did buy a baby toothbrush (which is really cute!), and mouth wash (does it need to by non-alcohol?) I got my hooks on wednesday, they arent too bad, they are white like my braces and made of soft wire (kubiashi's my ortho called them) but i have two normal hooks on my four front teeth and they are really cutting my gum and front bottom lip. im not really stressed about surgery, because i have my final year uni exams on monday so i'm more worried about them at the moment, and they are making me grumpy! but i will probably start worrying on tuesday! then wed is my birthday, thurs my mum comes and friday is the day! anyway good luck to all those having surgery this week jaimi (in australia) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
