Guest guest Posted September 21, 2000 Report Share Posted September 21, 2000 A warning to those who take zinc for their skin: Zinc is excellent for the skin but can be harmful in doses over 30 mg. I was taking a zinc supplement plus I got additional zinc in a mineral supplement I took. Although I knew a zinc supplement should include copper (2 mg.???), mine did not include copper. Last week I had some computerized tests run using accupuncture points. One of the findings was that I had way too much zinc in my system and not enough copper. The physician said this disposes one to anneurysms.
