Guest guest
<<<Could this be the cat? Has anyone had a similar situation? Is it even possible to develop cat or dog allergies after living with them for most of my life? I have noticed that the cat sleeps on my bed, and that my eyes are worse upon waking.>> Rose, I have wondered the same thing, especially since my dog developed new, severe allergies this spring about the same time that I was diagnosd with this. But she does not shed and supposedly has been declared a breed that humans do not become allergic to. (like hypo-allergenic jewelry : ) I am allergic to cats and can develope styes in the eye when around them-- so that might affect rosacea sufferers more. Can you keep the cat off your bed or change your pillowcases more? This is what I'm doing. Also, since using the new Zinco cream my bumps are clearing up a lot!! I just don't hug my dog so closely anymore, and keep my face out of her fur. Best, Robin
