Guest guest
Janet, It's a shame the boyfriend is worthless cause they look like a really cute family. I am amazed the nurses didn't check on her more. When my daughter had her baby 2 years ago they checked on her about every 15 minutes till she was close and then they never left the room. Hope the baby is all right. Those little one's can be a handful. My little one fly's back to Germany tomorrow. I will hate to see her go but she is sure missing her mommy. Wish her dad didn't have to get her in the summer.....Now if you want to talk about worthless that is with a capital J. Love ya,

Guest guest
Congratulations on the new little one!! Sounds like you have had a pretty busy week. Glad you you were able to keep up. I am glad that you are able and willing to support your daughter with the volleyball. That is so important. Take care and have a great week. TOPs hugs and smiles, BethHamilton & Feeser wrote: What a busy week. Had lots to do to get the volleyball concession stand stocked (2 trips to Sam's Club) and ready for the first home game on Tuesday night... and then for the tournament Thurs/Fri. Didn't have alot of help to run it, but managed to get through the week okay- even with a toddler under foot or on my hip for the duration. I managed to get a couple of people to fill in during the games that played, so I was happy. My great-niece only got away from me one time and darted on to the court. Fortunately, it was during warm up, not a game. She's a sweetie, but I'm soooo not used to having little ones around. It was a major ordeal just to get us out the door to go anywhere.... diaper bag, sippie cup, stroller, changes of clothes for her and ME, etc. [i learned after one sticky hug too many!] Her baby sister Kailynn Rae was born late Tuesday night, weighing in at just over 6 lbs and was 18 inches long. Since I had alot going on this week, I had asked my niece to keep her legs crossed and to especially not go into labor on a TOPS Tuesday. So much for that. Baby is doing fine, in spite of the hospital staff. had the first epidural that did nothing to even take the edge off the pain, so they gave her more, which totally numbed her. At one point, they had checked on her and she was dilated to 9 cm. For the next almost THREE HOURS, she laid there, throwing up, with the monitor showing big contractions, one after another. Finally my sister went and asked one of the nurses to check her. The nurse came in and moved 's legs apart and the baby slid out onto the sheets. Never had to push... apparently the contractions pushed her on down. No telling how long baby was in the birth canal... couldn't feel ANYTHING. Kailynn's little head was pretty misshaped, but is a bit better already. I can't believe they didn't check for that long, especially since she was already at 9 cm. Baby looks just like her sister did when she was born. Attaching a picture from when I took to the hospital to meet her new baby sister., Kae, Kailynn Rae, and 's worthless boyfriend.... who has no problem making babies, but serious problems with commitment and parenting duties. (Yeah, I'm a bit bitter. I'd hoped for more for my niece.)Hope everyone has a great weekend.hugs,janet... who is worn-out and has renewed respect for mothers of youngins! I REALLY love my teenagers, who are sooooo much easier. LOL!
