Guest guest
Using the " opportunity " of a Jewish-sponsored event to " win " people to " Jesus " is rude and worthy of expulsion from that event. But would you really kick someone out of a Jewish Cultural Festival for pointing out, in polite conversation, that the first Christians, including Jesus himself, were all Jews? Or even, while supporting everyone's right to worship differently, declaring himself to be both Jewish and Christian? Especially if you didn't know him very well, you might question his motives for bringing it up, but would you really call him names, insult him, twist his words around and shove them back in his face, and then tell him to leave? Nowhere in the guidelines for this listserve, now quoted, I believe, four times this week, does it state one must have completely forsaken attendance at any and all AA meetings in order to participate, only that the purpose of the listserve is to challenge AA doctrine without fear of getting bitch-slapped in the face with a Big Book. (Pardon me; those aren't the exact words; there I go again being creative with my use of words and not taken seriously. Horrors.) Attempting to guilt-trip others for not meeting requirements that aren't published IS narrowminded. __________________________________________________
