When she caught one of her clients, an adolescent boy, peeing in her gas tank, she slammed the lid on his " ny " and swore at him. At the end of the show, peace was made. She apologized for her language and made clear that that was all she was apologizing for, that inflicting pain on his genitals was right and proper. > > Can you imagine a parallel with a male social worker and a 12-year- old girl Yes I can. He would be labeled a " violent sex offender " and in some states civil committed in perpetuity after serving his sentence. He would likely have to submit to castration in order to be released. When I was in the Philippines, I was shocked to learn that circumcision is commonly performed on boys, not at birth but when they are 13 years old! They have to wear a humiliating skirt and it's supposed to be very painful for some time. The impression I got was this was more cultural than religious.
