Guest guest
Usually you can just peel it off. To make sure all the glue from the stickers was gone, I used Goo-gone. Hope that helps. Guest guest
I used to mostly peel it off with my fingers and whatever part of the mod podge was left behind usually came off with a little soap and water or in worst cases a little goo gone. Just make sure to wash the goo gone residue off with a little soap and water. Everett 1 year old (Danmar helmet grad after 6 1/2 months) > > Does anyone know how to remove mod podge from the band? Guest guest
---------- Forwarded message ----------From: Leggett <jennifer.leggett@...> Date: Tue, Sep 6, 2011 at 9:12 AMSubject: Re: Mod Podgeinfantile scoliosis treatment Yes! We did it every cast! We started by cutting fabric into manageable sized pieces in the shape of the cast. Once we did that we would pain the mod podge directly on the cast and lay the fabric over the mod podge. This will hold it on. The more layers you do the more water resistant it will be. Do a layer and let it dry then repeat. Then we would repaint the mod modge over the fabric pieces. I always found doing bigger areas at a time easiest. For the front I would have him sit on my husband's lap and watch a show while I did the mod podge . For the back I would sit him at his kids picnic table with some art stuff so I could easily get the back of him. I remember it took maybe 15 minutes for a lot to me dry and about 30 minutes for it to be 100%. I attached a picture of one of ours. We even attached velcro for a cape! Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions.Jenn Mommy to Cole & Max 2 of 2 Photo(s) IMG_2864_2.JPG
Guest guest
Modge Podge and cotton fabric work great for decorating & waterproofing the outside of the cast. Its dries pretty fast, but if you have a very active child I would do it in stages while they are sleeping. Please check out ISOP's cast decoarting kits on the homepage of www.infantilescoliosis.org (left side) HRH > I'm interested in this to because im wondering about getting on the skin > like by the pelvic area.Cause my daughter sometimes had pee accidents but > im not sure how we would get it up on the underneath the cast has anyones > done that and will it cause problems with the skin or stick to the skin > and make it stick to the cast.Right now I just bought some butterfly duct > tape and taped it all up becuase she also likes to spit her drink down the > front of her the only problem im having with that is that the mole skin > peels up when placed over it.Any sugestions? > > >> >> >> Can someone tell me how you do the mod podge/fabric decorating on the >> cast?
