Putter likes me to be happy, well, I don't suppose he cares if I feel happy, but

he likes me to look happy. I think his world is just safer when I am happy.

We had a very bad evening last night with throwing a fit over some

rudeness of Enrique and screaming at me that I never do anything about Enrique

and that he wants him out of the house. Enrique was very irritating and calm

and logical and Robbie would come in and say, " Bad " to which did not

help matters AT ALL.

I was so incredibly angry at because he just would not drop it that I

got in the car and drove around the block a few times to calm myself down. I

did not actually care if they were murdering each other in the huose or not at

that point.

I returned home and we talked and then I took everyone for ice cream and they

all perked up considerably. apologized to me and I apologized to him

for some extremely unkind things I had said in the heat of battle.

Putter believes that families should speak to each other in soft and gentle

words and that everyone should smile a lot. He sets us a good example by

smiling a lot.

Anyway, much later into the evening, right before bedtime, but not before Putter

had had his melatonin, Sophie was getting kind of cross. She and Robbie were

having a tea party and things were not going well. Truth was that she had slept

over at a friend's house and probably was a few hours short of sleep and it was

showing.

I was irritated by her. Putter came over to me and took the corners of my mouth

and forced them up into a smile.

He wants me to smile all the time it appears.

He found this very funny and repeated his action every time my smile drooped. I

found it kind of funny, funnier at first than later when my facial muscles began

to ache a bit.

We went to bed, still smiling.
