We went on vacation for a week the first of December. When we got back, I didn't log on and work for them since I hadn't received my 11-1 to 11-15 payment. I finally received that, but then I decided I wasn't going to start up with them again because they were such slow payers, they misrepresented themselves on their website as far as whether they paid for spaces and enters, and the majority of the work was ESL...and very, very tough ESL. So, now I haven't received payment for those last two weeks in November, and it isn't all that much, just over $100, but I didn't know if I waste time trying to collect or just forget it. Thanks for your input... No payment and recourse? Hi all, I wondered if any of you independent contractors have ever not received payment from a service, and if so, what recourse did you take? I'm currently in this situation with a service who took until the middle of December to pay me for the 11/1 - 11/15 period. The invoice from December 1 for the 11/15 - 11/30 has still not been paid. It's not a huge amount of money, but I do wonder if there's any recourse that I can take to collect this or do I just say forget it? Thanks for any advice.
