Guest guest
Well it is a bit cosmetic but with my daughter her ears are offset so her orthotist said it can throw their equalibrium off as well as affecting the left side of her face (her head is like a parallelogram or slanted rectangle), a helmet will however help correct this.kristi_dennis <kristi_dennis@...> wrote: Is plagiocephaly purely cosmetic, or are there other affects that I should know about? Guest guest
Im going to link you to a few recent studies here, here, and here. Those are recent posts. Treatment shouldn't be deemed cosmetic, but reconstructive. Plagio can also be associated with things like TMJ,etc. >> Is plagiocephaly purely cosmetic, or are there other affects that I > should know about?>
