Guest guest
Egroups, If you are mad or stressed, what things help relieve you? In the past, when I'm mad, stressed or whatever, I'd take a hot bath or exercise. But now that I have rosacea, I can't do those things anymore because they make my face really red. I remembered that previously, some of you suggested to me to listen music. I forgot to mention to you guys that I'm deaf. I was born deaf. What other things help relieve your stress or anger besides listening to music?? I can't do yoga because it is related with music. I'd glad to hear your suggestions! Thanks. Guest guest
<<If you are mad or stressed, what things help relieve you?>> Amber, Meditation and controlled breathing exercises might help; these are not music-related. Also, if possible, take a break and leave the stressful situation for a few minutes, go to another area and just quietly look out the window for awhile; you should feel better pretty soon. If all else fails, a mild tranquilizer should do the trick. Jim __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Amber there are a lot of things you can do to relieve your stress. A walk, good book, funny movie, good company. Candles are always a good thing. You dont have to take a hot bath but a nice relaxing bath with some nice smelling bath oil or bubbles is nice. Hope this helps. Guest guest
amber- can't you still feel the beat of the calming music? i have a couple friends that are deaf and they go out dancing, etc... they say that they can feel the beat of the music even though they don't actually hear it. yes, one was born deaf and the other became deaf from an illness when he was about 14 yrs. old. would the vibration be a type of micro-mini-massage? good luck! syd
Guest guest
Maitja Just read your post and wanted to let you know that if the person is diabetic they should never use epsom salts. Thought I would let you know. I am sure there must be a warning on the box. I went to school and took classes for diabetes. I didnt know about it till last year. My mom always used epsom salts when we were kids for relaxing and sprained ankles and wrists. It has something to do with the absorbtion of the salt into your body.
