Guest guest Posted February 20, 2006 Report Share Posted February 20, 2006 , I assume since you say it is dry now that it was oozing before. Keep the band off until you get to the ortho. You don't want to risk skin breakdown. Try some hydrocortisone cream on it. You also can use those Aveeno oatmeal pouches that I always recommend. Hopefully they can get him in quickly. I put Aquaphor on it and kept the band off until I talked to the ortho. The Aquaphor helped and I was told to towl his head more often...he's such a hot-box!
