Guest guest
Attention Fort Worth Ambulance Trash Who was the paramedic who worked in Wise County in the mid to late 80's and had the long blonde hair and I believe was in a band named Impulse? Anybody? I remember Dave telling me he was a good medic but disapproved of the hair. Ken In 1985, Jerry took a medic position with the then hospital based EMS system in Wise County. There he served with Jerry Hussong (RIP), Mike Floyd, Rob , Eliazar , and Mike . He became Director of EMS in 1986. Jerry married a surgical nurse in Decatur and remained there until 1990. He was an unconfident rookie right out of school when he came to Wise County around the fall of 1986. Under Jerry's tutelage, he did indeed turn into a very good medic. He finished nursing school through the Regents College program around 1993, cut his hair, and was a surgical nurse at Decatur for several years. Last I heard, he had become a hospice nurse.
