Guest guest
Not quite what you are asking but, I've been chelating with 18 mg DMPS and have had gains. I've been taking it continuously for about 2 months and the pain in my legs went away. It is most definitely attributed to the chelation. I am very happy about it. That pain was interfering with everything that I do and making life miserable. Now I can do things again, like go for long walks!! I also have been able to increase the dose. Starting at 12.5 doesn't mean staying at 12.5!!!! Guest guest
I've been at 25mg DMSA for four rounds. It has almost completely cleared up some nasty symptoms that I brought on by starting at too high a dose of ALA and DMSA (50mg. of each), plus a nasty challenge test that required a single 1800mg. dose of DMSA. I started getting bouts of insomnia, irritability, constant worry and frustration, and my fatigue got worse. I have been on the slow recovery over the past month. I attribute it to doing four rounds of chelation with 25mg. of DMSA and listening closely to my body. I've also been using Andy's book for nutritional support, which really helps with the symptoms both on and off rounds. I'm looking forward to introducing ALA after another month or so. But, I'll definitely make sure that my symptoms are minimal on the DMSA rounds first. Like many have stated previously, the difference between 12.5mg. DMSA and 25mg. DMSA is negligible. With several rounds at 12.5mg, you're still making improvements. I think it just depends how much you have free floating around in your system. Give it a couple of months. Unfortunately, we tend to worry a lot about our symptoms and our improvement. Just another shitty side effect of being toxic. Try to stay positive and stick with it.
