During my call with BCBS of AL today, I had requested for a supervisor

to call me back so I could get more info. Well she just called me and

told me the best news I've heard in a while. She said that before

calling me she thouroghly reviewed my appeal file again and saw that

one doctor had denied it but another doctor had looked at the info I

had sent and agreed that my son met all of the policy requirements.

She said the request for refund will be reversed. Apparently the

customer rep I had spoken to earlier was looking at old info. I can't

believe this news. The whole process was so frustrating but very worth

it. One question I have for everyone. This appeal was for my sons 1st

helmet, Should I appeal his second helmet. His measurement were better

than the first helmet but still not normal. Will they say that it was

just cosmetic at this point. I'm so afraid to go thru the whole

process agian because it did take a lot of my time.
