Guest guest
Hi , What an awful experience for you. My potassium has gone as high at 7.0 at one point, but I have always managed to avoid taking the stuff. I would have had to when it got to 7.0, but I was out of town and by the time I flew home and went for a recheck, it was down to 6.2, and so I escaped. Are you feeling much better now? Take care of yourself.

Guest guest
: A couple of recommendations when taking Kayexalate: 1. Try to take it with Fruit Juice. I prefer Trader Joes Cherry Cider or Apple & Eve Cranberry/Raspberry. Anything is better than straight up. 2. Keep the spoon in the glass, and keep stirring, right up until it goes in your mouth. Swig it all down and drink a glass of water right after. 3. If given it in the hospital, try to have them avoid using the sugar, but even if they do, still ask for Cranberry Juice -- it definitely goes down easier that way. 4. Stay near that bathroom. 5. Never, ever let them put you in an MRI machine within a half- hour of taking Kayexalate. Walt
